As an avid hiker, at the age of seventy, she climbed Mt. Whitney in one day— not bad, considering she could barely walk at age fifty.

Laurie Roades, PhD, is a respected academic leader, coach, consultant, and speaker. Following a long career as a professor and an administrator in higher education, she co-founded the R&J Leadership Group, LLC. Trained as a clinical psychologist, with a deep commitment to social justice, she is passionate about providing women with resources and guidance to overcome barriers in order to achieve personal and professional success.
